The year isn't over yet and there are definitely a few
movies I hope to see before we leave the country,
but 2011 certainly brought with it some great movies.
Of course one of my personal favorites
"Breaking Dawn"
I waited a whole darn year to see this movie,
and now I have to wait one more to see part 2.
Some other great movies I really enjoyed this year
"The Help", "Transformers 3" and "Colombiana" and "New Year's Eve" which
has made me officially have a crush on Zac Efron (yes I realize he's too young)!
I know there were a lot but these are the ones I had the opportunity
to see and that really I enjoyed.
Before the year ends I hope that I can see
"The Girl with The Dragon Tatto" and
of course my second love Tom Cruise's
"Mission Impossible"
What was your favorite movie this year?

Hands down, "Crazy, Stupid, Love!" What a HOOT!!! :-D There are others I saw but, clearly, they were just to pass the time. There are others receiving the so-called "Oscar buzz" that I deliberately avoided because, from their trailers, they either seemed too depressing, rehashed story lines that I had seen way too many times before or were biopics, which I generally find dull and mundane. As far as biopics go, all that really holds my interest is great acting by the actor/actress playing the starring role and his/her supporting cast, hardly ever the story. Before the year is out, I am hoping to see "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" (the plot is intriguing, so are the action sequences), "New Year's Eve" (I liked "Valentine's Day" and "Pretty Woman"), "Young Adult" (looks interesting), "The Descendants" (curious to see George Clooney in this role since I'm generally not impressed by his acting) and "We Bought a Zoo" (curious to see the story development here).
I loved crazy, stupid love!! I still have to see the Help!
Girlfriend, the only movies I saw in a theater were Cars2 and transformers! LOL
Honestly, I'd see anything if that meant just me & hubby.
Definitely feel like we have such similar taste in movies!!! I cannot wait to see Girl with the dragon tattoo....and MI!! I feel like MI came out of nowhere...but I can't wait to see it! I love those movies!
I haven't seen Cars2...or Cars1. I want to see them both. I haven't seen Crazy, Stupid, Love either.
I loved 50/50! It was actually a really good movie with a few depressing moments, but overall hilarious. I'm afraid it might be overlooked for Oscar buzz because Seth Rogan (who is actually a fantastic actor but does only comedies) was in it.
Confession: My crush on Zac Efron began when he was he was in High School Musical. EEP!
